ENGINE SYSTEM:
- Uses four external engine executables:
  - yt-dlp.exe
  - ffmpeg.exe

  - deno.exe
  - Deno provides the JavaScript runtime used by yt-dlp when supported
  websites require JavaScript challenge processing
- yt-dlp automatically discovers Deno from the same engine folder
- Engine Health checks verify all four required engines
- Engine Health details include installation status, version, and location
- Engine files are stored separately from Python dependencies
- Engine packages can be updated independently from the main application
- Updated engines are installed in the user's application-data folder
when VidSail is running as a packaged Windows application
- VidSail searches the user engine folder first and then falls back to
  bundled engine files
- Engine update packages are verified with SHA-256 before installation
- Engine version comparison prevents unnecessary repeated updates
- Fast-startup mode avoids blocking external engine-version checks during launch
- Optional manifest update checks run silently after the main window is visible
